If I have no money, and job, is it possible to get a free lawyer without charge?
September 4, 2010, 4:01 amIm 18,I live in Michigan, recently just got my lincense, Is it possible to get a free lawyer? I was busted in a park with possesion of marijuana. This is my first time involved with the cops. Of course I stoped smoking for my benefit. I need to know if I can somehow get a less sentence. Will this effect a job or my lincense? -

How can I get free legal advise regarding my 12 year old Step-Daughters decision to move in with her dad?
August 28, 2010, 3:49 amAfter raising her for 8 years, my step-daughter has decided she would prefer to live with her dad. She was going to be in a lot of trouble after returning from his visitation weekend and figured it would be easier just to stay with him. This man has NEVER been a father to her or her brother (who did come home with my wife and I). After much consideration, we are allowing her to stay with him "temporally". However, we do need some legal advise. I figure we can just have a lawyer draw up a "temporary" agreement without changing the origional custody arrangement. Any thoughts on this? We are in the San Francisco Bay Area. Anyone know of a free legal source here? Any help would be appreciated! -

When will my bankruptcy trustee take my income tax?
August 26, 2010, 2:13 amHello, I filed for bankruptcy in 2008 and it was discharged in December 2008. From my knowledge, my trustee will take my income tax proceeds from 2008 (which I filed Feb 2009 ) and distribute the proceeds to my creditors. My question is I already have my income tax return and I do not know when my trustee will take the money. Is there some type of limit because I received only $960 from my 2008 federal tax return.
